Join us in showing our destination communities we're standing with them.

  • £10 provides 7 Kathmandu street-children with a packed meal.
  • £25 feeds an Inca Trail porter's family for a week.
  • £50 plants 25 fruit trees in Ladakh to provide ground stability and income.

As Covid-19 gripped the world in March 2020, our thoughts immediately turned to our extended Exodus family; our expert local teams of leaders, operators, porters, drivers, and the communities around them, who were about to face not only a battle against this virus, but also huge economic impact from the global halt in tourism. So, while Exodus' travels were grounded, the Exodus Travels Foundation worked hard to support these communities where we could.

And now the next step - we've set up the Community Kickstart Project with the aim of helping those communities to recover, rebuild and get back on their feet while we all wait for the world to open its doors again. The idea is simple - enabling our teams on the ground to kickstart local initiatives which will help support their local communities at this time when the need is greatest. After all, our expert and passionate Exodus leaders and operators are best placed to identify the greatest needs, and greatest opportunities to help, across our destination communities and especially in hard-to-reach places. To see some of the initiatives our local teams have already kickstarted through this project, click here.

Exodus donated £10,000 to get this Project started, and the generosity of our community of responsible adventurers has helped us to double it, surpassing our original target of £20K. So now we ask you to join us in reaching our new target of £30K, to triple the social, environmental and economic impact we can have across our destination communities.

As ever, thank you for your generous and tireless support for communities across the world; we can't visit them right now, but through the Exodus network, we can show them we're standing with them.
