Please support us in providing direct humanitarian aid for Ukraine's most vulnerable people.
Exodus continues to be shocked and saddened by the events in Ukraine, and we know many of our partners and customers share our concern for the people of this beautiful country. We want to come together to help Ukraine in the most impactful way possible through our partner on the ground, RE:ACT Disaster Response.
Your donation will support their continued humanitarian aid in hard-to-reach areas such as Dnipro, which has been targeted by Russian forces as it is a central crossing point over the river. Citizens East of the Dnipro River are vulnerable, facing a winter without shelter, warm clothing, and food. At present, RE:ACT are working with Ukrainian partner charities to provide hot meals for people in three locations:
- A Mother and Child Assistance Centre that provides temporary shelter and a safe space for 250 women and children
- A centre for social adaptation for people with disabilities which provides longer term support. The centre has taken in almost 1000 people that have been displaced since the conflict began
- People arriving at the train station from conflict areas (up to 100 people a day)
Since 2020, The Exodus Foundation has partnered with RE:ACT, a rapid-responding humanitarian force, to provide fast and effective action when disasters occur, ensuring that our support reaches the people and places that need it most, as quickly as possible. RE:ACT share our mission to provide aid in often extremely remote and inaccessible parts of the world. They achieve this by training ex-military, former “Blue Light” and humanitarian professionals, utilising their planning and problem-solving skills and situational awareness to deliver humanitarian aid. The teams are deployed to provide essential humanitarian action where and when it is needed, focusing on areas that other humanitarian agencies aren’t able to reach.
Thank you for joining us in standing with Ukraine in this difficult time.
